Terms of Service

Askwho Casts Pro ("the service", "we") turns web articles you choose into produced audio episodes, delivered to a private podcast feed. The service is operated from the United Kingdom. By creating an account or subscribing you agree to these terms.

1. The service

You paste a link to an article; we produce a spoken audio edition of it using AI-generated voices and deliver it to a private RSS feed only you hold the address to. Audio is machine-produced: quality is high but not perfect, and pronunciation or reading errors can occur.

2. Accounts

You sign in with Google or an email link. You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, and for keeping your private feed address private — anyone with the address can listen. You can rotate the address in the app at any time.

3. Subscriptions and credits

• The service requires an active monthly subscription, billed through Stripe. Each tier grants a monthly allowance of credits; one credit is roughly one minute of finished audio.
• Before each episode you see its exact credit price and approve it — you're charged the estimate, never more. If a generation fails, its credits are automatically returned.
• Unused credits roll over and expire three calendar months after they were granted. Top-up credit packs are available to subscribers and follow the same three-month rule.
• You can cancel any time; your subscription runs to the end of the paid period. After it lapses you can no longer generate new episodes, but your feed keeps playing everything you've already made.
• Credits have no cash value and aren't transferable.

4. Your content and acceptable use

• The service is for personal listening. Submit only content you have the right to access, and use the resulting audio for your own private use — don't republish, rebroadcast, or redistribute episodes or your feed.
• Articles are converted as-is on your instruction; you're responsible for what you choose to submit.
• Don't use the service for anything unlawful, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer it.

5. Availability and changes

We aim for the service to be reliable, but it's provided "as is" without warranties; we may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we ever discontinue the service entirely we'll give reasonable notice and refund any unused subscription time.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't lawfully be limited.

7. Ending an account

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account and data at any time (see the privacy policy). We may suspend accounts that break these terms, with a refund of unused subscription time unless the breach is serious.

8. The legal bits

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If we update them materially we'll note it here and, for significant changes, email account holders. Questions: hello@askwhocasts.com.
